At Sunny Paws we specialize in creating joyous relationships between dogs and their humans through gentle, positive, reward-based training, as well as enrichment programs.
As a Licensed Family Dog Mediator I look at your whole dog and what makes them tick before designing a training and enrichment plan. Every dog is a unique individual, just like every human being is a unique individual. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits all method in dog training, just as no teaching method is the right fit for every human.
Of course kindness, positive reinforcment, and gentle training IS right for every dog, but within that framework, we have a lot of options. I train using games and protocols that are tailormade for your dog’s unique interests, likes, genetic makeup, and learning style

Fearful Dogs
At Sunny Paws Training we have a very special place in our hearts for the fearful, shy, and anxious dogs. As a matter of fact working with fearful dogs is one of our specialties. Through a gentle program of counter conditioning, confidence building, and specialized enrichment we help even the most timid dogs find a bit of bravery and self-assurance.
Training
Does your dog need to work on basic manners or do they have some problem behaviors you’d like to resolve? Did you recently get a puppy or a rescue dog? We offer a variety of in-home training packages including one-on-one training, day training and walk-and-train packages.
No matter what your budget, we have a plan that’s right for you.
Enrichment
Is your dog exibiting signs of boredom like digging, destructive behavior, hyperactivity, or excessive barking? A personalized enrichment program can really make a difference in their day to day behaviors. This is also a great choice if you aren’t quite ready, or able, to invest the time or money in a full training plan.
Our dogs are doing the best they can with the education we have given them, in the environment we’ve asked them to perform in.
